BainUltra Selects Spafax to Create Trendsetting Magazine

By CPC Staff

BainUltra, innovator of the original air jet bath and home spa, and Spafax, one of the world's largest custom publishers, have collaborated to produce HomeSpa, a consumer magazine that celebrates the growing home spa movement, spa trends and the spa lifestyle.

"BainUltra's concept for this magazine is timely in so many ways," said Amanda Ross, HomeSpa editor-in-chief. "The next 'great room' in everyone's house will be the home spa. Our magazine reflects that trend with coverage of the health and wellness, spa and home design movements – elements that converge at the home spa."

The first issue of the bi-annual publication was launched on May 8 at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas; the second issue is due in November 2007.

"HomeSpa Magazine is a natural next step for us, said Valerie Parent, BainUltra director of marketing. "In offering information about the vast universe of wellness and spa care, it aligns perfectly with our primary concern – a healthier lifestyle."

The magazine is distributed through BainUltra dealers throughout North America; it is also available at In addition to reaching consumers, the second issue will expand its reach by targeting such key influencers as interior designers, architects and property developers.

"Spafax is incredibly proud to be associated with a progressive company like BainUltra," said Katrin Kopvillem, general manager and publisher of Spafax. "HomeSpa magazine is a brilliant example of the combined efforts of good marketing and good editorial taking ownership of a trend just as it's about to take off in the marketplace."
