NCR Corporation specializes in technology products for the retail, finance, health care, entertainment, travel and other public sectors. With a focus on point-of-sale technology and IT maintenance across the globe, NCR’s Executive Vice President John Bruno travels the world delivering the NCR message to its most important clients. His schedule is increasingly busy, and NCR came to Spark Productions (McMurry’s video production unit) looking to create a media piece that would capture and convey John’s passion and energy, delivering his important message when he is unable to be with clients in person.

Over the course of more than a year, Spark led NCR through the process of capturing and delivering John’s message on camera. John is a powerful expository speaker with strong presence and a facile, creative mind. Since it was important to convey his off-the-cuff energy, Spark filmed John in a giant loft space in New York City with four cameras, allowing him to speak as if he was addressing an audience. Spark’s in-house production team and on-site editors worked the footage down to a densely informative three-minute message. NCR was thoroughly pleased with the results of John Bruno’s messaging video. It now travels extensively to NCR’s global clientele when John Bruno cannot, and John feels comfortable that he is well represented when he can’t be there in person. Spark’s success with capturing John Bruno’s vision and message has led to a number of other opportunities with NCR, who now sees the benefit of using Spark for high-design high-profile pieces.
